Tips for Success
The engine is cooled by a system. Treat it as a system.
Inspect the fan. A damaged or bent fan must be replaced. Do not try to straighten a bent fan.
A broken or bent fan will cause an imbalance of the cooling system. This can damage the new components and shorten their life.
Inspect pulleys for damage or defects. Pulleys on the same belt can cause imbalance.
Flush the cooling system.
Use proper coolant/water mix per OEM specifications and recommendations.
Inspect hoses and drive belts. Replace as necessary.
